If you want to become a beta tester for a game, you must have the wit, desire and most especially, the experience. You must have the ability to play for 24 hours straight each day. Beta testers for MMORPGs are the most taxing jobs ever.

Having to play for a game that is yet to be released is one of the most glorified jobs you can get. Playing for WoW months before it was released was a great honor for players who wanted to become a beta tester for the game. Having played that globally popular game because of its gameplay and graphics is a great plus because you can have the benefit of experiencing the game after the beta test is free from glitches and bugs.

The glory of defeat after you become a beta tester happens when the character you made after months of playing is deleted before the official release. Imagine this, if you are in a boss hunt in the same game you did the beta testing for, you can have the upper hand in knowing its exact location and weaknesses. These will render great rare items and tons of experience points for your character. Skill grinding will also be easy because you can have the luxury of not looking for spots to level-up. This is because you already know where to go without wasting hours of game time finding the correct spot to kill a monster with less time — depending on your DPS or damage per second.
